Growth of mould, mildew, or fungus is quite a common problem in homes that can pose serious threat to your health and the structure of your house. The problem generally becomes massive in the monsoons owing to accumulation of moisture and dampness in certain areas of your house. ·   Baking soda

Sodium bicarbonate or baking soda is a common ingredient found in almost every household. It is a strong base that effectively prevents mould growth. You can mix it with water to make a non-toxic, inexpensive solution for mould removal. 

·   Distilled white vinegar

The acidic properties of vinegar make it an effective agent for reducing mould that can break down the mould’s structure and eliminate it. Therefore, use a distilled vinegar solution, along with an additional household cleaner for scrubbing out mould. But, remember that it may not altogether remove the mould stains.

·   Minor mould growth over a small area can be effectively removed using several DIY methods, some of which are mentioned above. However, in case of massive mould growth, it is recommended to hire a professional team expert in mould removal.
