A Traditional Georgian Mansion

When it comes to traditional homes, we’re positive that this gorgeous Georgian mansion has the entire vibe perfected down to a T.

When we saw this gorgeous home by Carolyn Parker, we couldn’t help but want to share it with you. After all, who wouldn’t want to see such gorgeous photos of a traditional family home that even featured its’ own indoor pool?

Here is just a selection of images that we love – and we’re sure you will too!

Hallways and Entrances

We have always found that hallways and entrance areas of traditional homes like this are some of the most stunning rooms in the home. Designed to make an amazing first impression that will give any interior design lover the wow-factor, this Georgian home is no different.

The hallway uses a unique floor tiling design that looks amazing paired with the pale blue walls, whilst the traditional staircase has been enhanced by using gold accents and a neutral carpet.

There’s also a gorgeous lantern-style chandelier in the centre to provide a focal point to people entering the room. Combined with the old-style paintings and antique cabinet against the back wall, it makes for a perfect Georgian grand entrance!

Living Area

Continued from the entrance into the living room of the property is a similar colour scheme and interior design style. This area of the Georgian home uses beautiful striped wall paper to elongate the height of the room, along with beautiful classic furniture centred around a gorgeous fireplace.

Indoor Pool

Well, that was a modern feature that we weren’t expecting… An indoor pool!

A new and unusual feature for a home with this interior style, the indoor pool is in what looks like an extension to the house and will provide the homeowner with a place to relax and unwind.

Again, we wouldn’t expect less from the bedroom areas of this traditional home than it to be filled with charm, class and style. The bedrooms have beautiful chandeliers – again, to enhance the feeling of luxuriousness – and a beautiful mirrored cabinet towards the right-hand side of the room.
