Eager to give your bedroom a romantic country style? It takes less than you think to create your sleep paradise.

1.  An iron bed

We find this irresistible bedroom in a turn-of-the-century villa. A classic iron bed makes its mark on the entire room, whose neutral tones make details such as the candlestick by the bed and the romantic ceiling lamp attract attention.

The magnificent folk cabinet and the white-painted wooden floor enhance the country feeling and make the bedroom even more cozy.

Modern furniture and decorations are almost completely excluded; the turn of the century room will be a much-needed escape from everyday stress. The tiled stove adorns one corner in an almost majestic way and is an excellent starting point for the country style.

2. Lots of white ruffles and textiles

Completely showering the bedroom with white can be one of the most effective ways to make the room exude rural charm and archipelago romance. They have really taken note that white is one of the most restful and inviting colors.

Tip!

A white bedspread can work wonders if you want to quickly get to a more rustic bedroom. Few color combinations make such a success as white and pale pink. The atmospheric seating area in the bedroom is adorned with a nice bouquet that contrasts with the white. Unlike other colors, you do not have to be afraid to overdo it with white; if you play with different shades and structures, the room still looks alive and not static.

3. Shabby chic and patina

It’s easier than you think to turn the bedroom in a central apartment with a city pulse into a wonderful country idyll. With the right wear and tear on the furniture, you can almost convince yourself that you are in the countryside instead of in the city…

4. Sno style!

Hang an old door over a regular modern bed base, and vips and you’ve got the ultimate shabby chic bed or you can also checkout Layla mattress reviews when its matter of comfort. A flea market mirror that can be casually tilted against the wall also contributes to a country feel, and makes the room look bigger.

If you want more patina and antique charm in the bedroom, the bedside table is a grateful recipient. We love the small French café chair and the simple cut flowers that give this Sydney bedroom another boost of shabby chic.

 5. Floral wallpaper

Big flowers are really on the agenda right now – and surely it’s hard not to be inspired by this hit to the bedroom? The combination of wonderful flower walls, traditional furniture and the ceiling stucco embodies rustic luxury.

The mirror door gives the wallpapers even more space in the bedroom, and gives the wardrobe area a softer impression.

Tip!

You can let the colors of the flowers in the wallpapers meander out into the bedroom, for example through sofa cushions and bedside tables in the same shades. It makes the room look more uniform and cements the romantic feeling.

6.  Wood paneling and sheet piling

Whether you only have a background wall or want to put paneling on all bedroom walls, wood paneling or motherboard is well worth the effort for you who are looking for a “farmhouse effect” in the home’s most relaxing room.

Here you have chosen to decorate the wall behind the bed with unpainted wood, but it is of course possible with white painted panels if you want to make your own bedroom even brighter.

Do you think that a wicker chair sounds like a good idea, but think that a colorful one would fit better in your particular bedroom? 8. Patchwork

Grandma’s best friend will never go out of style. And no other textile is as strongly associated with rural life as these beloved fabrics. Here, the bedroom has been given a hefty dose of honest bonn decor, with a sweet patchwork quilt as a bedspread and headboard in the best shabby chic style. It is as easy as a plate to match a patchwork quilt with walls and other furnishings, as in this Stockholm villa. Here, lantidyll takes on a completely new meaning…

It is often cheapest to sew your own quilt, but if you have your thumb in the middle of your hand, you can buy patchwork quilts in all price ranges and sizes.

9. Wooden floor

This rustic bedroom is proof that rustic interior design is so much more than white wood panels, roses and patchwork quilts. The unpretentious wooden floor in combination with an old-fashioned tiled stove will be a good starting point for spinning on the country theme. We love the cozy rugs!

The details create the whole; the antique bedside table, the hanging flower that looks out from behind the tiled stove and the deer head all contribute to the wonderfully rural spirit.
