Block Colour
If there’s anywhere in the home where you should experiment with block colouring, it’s the kitchen. Being one of the boldest places in the home, using bold colours without the room can look incredible when used correctly, as shown in the images above.
This kitchen is mainly white with gold accents, but the deep purple colour whist cases the middle island gives the entire room a modern feel, without looking over the top.
Chairs
To tie-in the bold colour, the kitchen designer has also included a plush purple chair to provide extra seating around the central island. We particularly love this chair because the velvety material provides added texture to the otherwise-flat room.
Kitchen Storage
As we all know, it’s not uncommon to have stacks of plates in every cupboard that you could imagine in your kitchen. Once they’ve been dried and put away, they tend to get stacked on top of one another and look an eyesore in open-fronted cupboards.
In this kitchen, the designer has made use out of the small gaps between the cupboard units to provide additional storage for plates and other large items. Opened by simply pulling the handle, this is a great way to stylishly store crockery!
